Day 5
Arlington National Cemetery
Two of Kennedy's brothers are currently buried in Arlington. A special grave site is being built, and these are the temporary ones.
William O. Douglas, from Washington.

The eternal flame.
Kennedy is buried here with his wife, and unnamed daughter, and a son who died days after birth.
Five Stars.
Youngest soldier.
View of DC.
We saw a real funeral, and throughout the day heard many of the gunshots from funerals. This picture is of the marching precession and band of the funeral. Out of respect we did not take pictures of the casket or family.
Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown
The Ceremony. They guard and switch guards every hour 24/7 every single day. No matter the weather or situation.
The wreaths.
The Navy Museum
Destroyer.
We had a little competition going on. :)

Keely and Rae! My best buds! :)
I think we had an amazing time! It was a once in a life time trip!
*Note- We also went to many other places in DC that unfortunately did not allow pictures. A few exhibits, the Holocaust Museum, inside Mount Vernon, etc.
